Division Winemaking Company is an award-winning urban winery in Portland, Oregon. Division represents a fresh generation of curious winemaking looking beyond the status quo to create unique wines from diverse grape varieties with both intention and a story.
Division Winemaking Company is a wine oasis in the heart of Inner SE Portland. Co-owners and co-winemakers Kate Norris and Thomas Monroe make approachable and balanced low intervention wines with great price to quality value. Kate and Tom work with terroir-expressive vineyards, focused on organic, regenerative and/or Biodynamic® farming.

Division Winemaking Tasting With the Winemakers!
Taste through a selection of five (5) of our Portland-produced wines with Kate and/or Tom (the winemakers!)
We update our tasting lineup regularly to align with the season and what wines are tasting best, and can take special requests into consideration when selecting your wines.
Division Wine Club members receive unlimited complimentary tastings as noted:
Essentials 3 Bottle Club // Curator 3 Bottle Club : Unlimited tastings for the club member (1 guest)
Essentials 6 Bottle Club // Curator 6 Bottle Club // Champion Club // Club Gamay : Unlimited tasting for groups of up to 2 people (member + 1 guest)
Winemaker Tasting Details:
🍷 Tasting experience with the winemaker ($50 per guest, with a 2 guest ($100) minimum. $50 per additional tasting guest for groups up to 8)
🍾 Wine tasting of 5 wines with the winemaker(s) + nibble by Cafe Olli included
✨ Division Wine Club Members receive unlimited free tastings based on club level membership
🐟 Our Gourmet Tinned Fish Board is available for purchase with 48 hours notice
⏰ 60-75 minute appointment
🚶 Winery tours and barrel tastings are available by request – inquire for pricing.

Prepayment is required to confirm your reservation.
Wine Club Reservations: For every $100+ wine purchase per guest, 1 guest tasting fee ($50 value) will be waived for wine club members.
For every wine club sign up during the tasting appointment waived guest tasting fees will be commensurate with club level benefit.
Non wine club reservations: For every $150+ wine purchase per guest, 1 guest tasting fee ($50 value) will be waived.
Our Tinned Fish Board costs $20 and serves roughly 2 guests as a light snack. It must be reserved with 48 hours notice of our tasting. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions, and we will assist with possible accommodations.

Do I get charged ahead of my reservation?
We charge reservations at time of booking.
Do I tip on the day of my reservation?
Certainly if you would like to!
Can I add on a snack board at the tasting?
Unfortunately, no. All snack board add-ons must be confirmed 2 business days in advance of your reservation.
What if I love the wine and buy a bunch of bottles at the tasting?
We hope you do! For every $150+ wine purchase or a wine club signup on the day of the reservation we will waive 1 wine tasting fee.
I’m a wine club member. What kind of special treatment do I receive?
Wine club members receive unlimited complimentary tastings commensurate with their club membership level. If you are interested in joining a club ahead of your tasting, please note that we require a one-year commitment upon joining any of our clubs.
What if I forget to cancel my tasting reservation and get charged?
We do not offer any refunds for those who forgot to cancel or no show their reservation. If you forget to cancel before 48 hours ahead of your reservation and reach out to us, we will use 50% of your tasting reservation fee as credit towards a $150+ purchase from our website.
What if I need to edit my reservation to add or remove guests?
We are happy to edit your reservation at no cost outside of 48 hours before your reservation. If you need to edit your reservation within 48 hours of your reservation and reach out to us, we will use your tasting reservation fee as credit towards a $150+ purchase from our website on the day of the reservation. We do not offer any refunds on snack boards within 48 hours of your reservation, but you are free to take any extra food home with you.
Do you offer any non-alcoholic options?
Having an option to reach for a beverage that feels celebratory, thoughtful, artisanal and special while also having no alcohol feels not only inclusive, but also a way to help bring balance into our sphere. Something for all to enjoy at any time, together.
