2021 Division-Villages “Les Petits Fers”
We love drinking and sharing this crushable, juicy carbonic Gamay.
Beautifully garnet/magenta in color, this wine typifies early-release Gamay wines with crunchy red fruit tones and just enough garrigue to satisfy the boldest of Gamay lovers. For our “Les Petits Fers” wine, we typically utilize significant amounts of whole cluster carbonic maceration, typical of traditional Beaujolais winemaking. This was especially useful this year as our acidity levels were a bit firmer than in other years and the process helps soften the wines.
2021 Broc Love White
Unpretentious white blend singing with golden fruit and pleasant salinity.
Love White is meant to be a fresher style of a Rhône-inspired white that is structured, delicious and infinitely drinkable. All varieties were fermented separately, then aged in neutral French oak barrels with no S02. Malolactic fermentation was allowed to happen naturally. All varieties in this blend play a key role to delivering its unique balance.
31% Marsanne | 24% Albariño | 18% Grenache Blanc | 15% Rousanne | 12% Picpoul
2021 Rogue Vine Jamon Jamon Moscatel
Leo and Justin’s winemaking delivers the essence of this incredible region.
Leo Erazo and Justin Decker started Rogue Vine in 2011 in a one-car garage in Concepcion, Chile. This 100% skin fermented Moscatel is from Guarilihue region of Itata. The nose shows orange peel, white flowers, peach, and orange blossom with savory undertones of sage and toasted almonds. The palate shows notes of quince and marzipan with honeysuckle and a hint of black pepper spice. The finish is held long by the bright acid of the wine.
