Sales + Operations Assistant
Chris Breen is the Sales and Operations Coordinator at Division Winemaking Company. Chris originally joined the Division Team as a harvest intern for the 2018 vintage, and has been a familiar face at the SE Wine Collective ever since, working behind the bar at Oui Wine Bar + Restaurant until August of 2019 when he assumed his current role.
Originally from Rhode Island, Chris moved to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark College,where he majored in both Mandarin Chinese and French, becoming fluent in both after living abroad in Taiwan, Mainland China, and Alsace, France. After returning from a wine-soaked semester in Alsace, Chris fell in love with the incredible wine regions of the Pacific Northwest, and decided to pursue a career in the industry. Chris’s passion for low-intervention wines and love of Gamay Noir is what originally led him to Division in 2018, and he couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Division team. When not at the winery, you can find him either watching or playing soccer, traveling, or exploring Portland’s vibrant food and drink scene.
